American Graveyard Is Coming To My House

I met them a couple of years back. Helped 'em as best I could, when I could. We made a record together on a budget that wouldn't cover the frickin' beer tab for a normal recording; it's been called the best debut release of the last several years, and not just by me. The Chronicle calls 'em the one to watch this year.

And it's all beginning to pay off; the boys are finally getting some traction. They're packing the Continental and gettin' encores at Antone's now.

Anyway. American Graveyard is headlining Threadgill's on Wednesday, July 18th, and we'll be recording the show for possible release. $7.00 cover, and the overwhelming bulk of that cover goes directly to the band.

It's homecoming, y'all. Mark your calendars. Come in from the cold for a night. It's time for a meeting. And it's going to be a complete gas. :)

Come on out to the yard, drink, be merry, see the gang, and have some fun.

The stars are all aligned for this one. I suspect that it's going to be one of those "Yeah I was there" type of shows that you can talk about a decade from now.

I'll remind you as the day approaches. Just wanted to get in an early heads up.

Nicotine is a Queen-Bitch Goddess with no sense of humor when betrayed.

I'd rather be doing just about anything other than trying to quit smoking at the moment.

Somersaulting naked through a barn fire comes to mind as an easier way to spend my time...
